I have a lot of books in the pipeline that have been on my to-read list for what seems like forever, so I am so excited to tackle them. Today’s teaser comes from page 151 of William P. Young’s The Shack, one of those much-anticipated books.
“Obviously he was meant to enter, so he hesitatedly reached out and pushed. His hand simply penetrated the wall as if it wasn’t there. Mack continued to move cautiously forward until his entire body passed through what appeared to be the solid stone exterior of the mountain.”

I’m reading both a fiction and a non-fiction book, but the non-fiction is close at hand while the fiction (“206 Bones” by Kathy Reichs — very good, by the way!) is a floor away.
I’m on a quest to get healthier, and so am reading a book about healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle, “The MindBody FX Lifestyle,” by Melonie Dodaro. It includes all kinds of interesting info, including an easy to follow nutrition plan.
Here’s my teaser: “Everyone you meet claims to be concerned about health and weight, but few seem to make positive changes. Why? I’ve seen this problem reach frightening levels…because we focus solely on eating healthy and exercising to achieve our ideal weight. While both those things are important components to a healthy lifestyle, if your mind’s not on board, you’re wiring yourself to keep falling into that hole.”
